ESG Nano Prize 2018
Advancement award for publications in nanoscience and nanotechnology

Erwin Schrödinger Society for Nanosciences awards the ESG-Nano-Prize 2018 in the categories "sciences" and "life sciences" for exceptional, innovative publications in the fields of nanoscience and nanotechnology. This advancement award is aimed towards supporting talented young scientists.

The prize is only awarded to natural persons at an early stage of their career. The applicant has to be the main contributor (e.g. first author, corresponding author) of a peer reviewed, original paper that has been accepted for publication since January 2016 and the work must have been carried out, at least in part, in an austrian research institution.

The ESG-Nano-Prize 2018 will be awarded in the course of the 3rd ESG-Symposium 2018. The award includes prize money of € 4.000,- that can be awarded to as a whole or split.

Applications (one-page letter of motivation, the paper, publishable half-page popular scientific abstract, curriculum vitae) are accepted until January 1, 2018 via e-mail to the secretary general, Oskar Armbruster (oskar.armbruster@univie.ac.at)
