ESG Travel Grants

ESG Travel Grants
for young scientists (individuals under 35 years of age)

The Erwin Schrödinger Society for Nanosciences (ESG-Nano) awards travel grants to support participation in international scientific conferences, where the applicant makes a contribution in the form of a poster or lecture, which is closely related to the society. Each grant amounts to a maximum of € 500.- and is awarded in accordance with the funds.

Condition:
1. The applicant must be a member of the ESG.
2. The contribution has to be already accepted by the organizers of the conference.
3. The applicant agrees to provably integrate the ESG logo and the BMVIT logo clearly visible in the conference contribution. Evidence in the form of a copy of the contribution (as a pdf file) is to be supplied to the Erwin Schrödinger Society.
4. The application is comprised of the following documents in English or German: letter of motivation, curriculum vitae, details of the conference, confirmation of acceptance of the contribution.
5. The travel grant will be paid after providing a billing, enclosing original invoices.

The president together with the vice presidents decides on the award of the ESG travel grant.
There are no deadlines for applications. A retroactive application is not possible.

The logos will be electronically sent to the applicant after awarding a travel grant.
